CommuniGate Pro for iPhone
CommuniGate Systems recently announced that it is ready to supply iPhone users with push mail, calendar, and contact syncing using over-the-air Airsync, without requiring a Microsoft Exchange server. The software, called CommuniGate Pro also works with both Linux and Windows systems, as well as the Mac. While pricing and availability for the service was not available, CommuniGate showed Communigate Pro at its booth at the VON.x Expo.
"We are seeing a huge shift towards enterprise SaaS Unified Communications at the network operators and service providers we serve," said Jon Doyle, VP of business development for Communigate.. "With the introduction of the iPhone the world witnessed a device that brings the power of the internet to the mobile user, and people would pay nearly anything to get their hands on that device!"
He continues, "the uptake of the iPhone hit the enterprise market too; and users wanted to be able to connect with their e-mail, corporate calendar and their contact list. We deliver the solution that will enable service providers and enterprises to serve this highly valuable power user market
