We have posted a review of the Bookendz Docking Station for 13" MacBook, which replicates all the ports on your MacBook and adds a hub for the USB devices, which gives you five USB 2.0 ports. The hub has its own power supply to add power to the extra USB ports and a green LED on the top of the dock indicates the power is working properly. You do not have to use the power supply, if your peripherals do not require power.

Apple 12th in Web traffic

comScore, a leader has released analysis of U.S. consumer activity at top online properties for February 2008 from its comScore Media Metrix service. The official beginning of the holiday shopping season resulted in retail sites dominating the top gaining site and category rankings. News categories, both business/finance and general news, saw increases in February with economic worries and presidential primaries dominating the national agenda. Business/finance news sites gained 6 percent to reach nearly 62 million visitors, with Yahoo! Finance, AOL Money & Finance, and MSN Money leading the category. Apple Inc. came in 12th, right behind the New York Times, with 47,048,000 unique visitors.

Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco announces Keynote Lineup

TechWeb and O'Reilly Media, Inc., co-producers of Web 2.0 Expo, have announced the lineup of keynotes scheduled to appear at the upcoming Web 2.0 Expo San Francisco 2008 -- a list that includes Marc Andreessen, Max Levchin and Johnathan Schwartz, and many others. Web 2.0 Expo is the global annual gathering of developers, designers, marketers, and business professionals building the next generation Web, taking place April 22-25, 2008 at Moscone West.

Cocktail discounts, prizes offered

The Australian Apple University Consortium today announced that it would be offering scholarships to Australian University staff and students to attend this years Apple World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) being held in the USA in June 2008. Successful Scholarship recipients in 2008 receive a WWDC Conference Ticket as well as a financial subsidy to assist in covering the cost of: return economy airfares to San Francisco, USA from Australia; twin-share Accommodation in San Francisco for up to 7 days.
