Airport Express, Time Cap
MacNN recently posted reviews for both the new Apple Airport Express and the 500GB Time Capsule. Through the course of testing, MacNN's own Wallace Wang found the Express to be a good value for home users, as it supports a wide range of wireless standards, provides printer and audio sharing, as well as compatibility with PCs. The addition of the Draft N standard to the device allows it to remain current with Airport cards in machines.
Apple's Time Capsule proves to be a reliable backup solution for both single and multi-computer setups, and works directly with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard's Time Machine. While Time Capsule requires 10.5 in order to have Time Machine functionality, it also works as a manual backup volume for both Mac and PC, but does not support media streaming. Its ease of setup and wide range of functionality also appeals, but lack of upgradeability could be an issue to some.

Well duh, Time Machine is only on 10.5, you would not expect time machine functionality for 10.4 or a Windows machine since they don't have time machine.
