Wozniak: Apple TV and MB Air good, not great
Steve Wozniak today hosted a keynote at an Australian broadband conference, and offered his mixed opinions on the Apple TV and the MacBook Air. Wozniak said that although he believes the Apple TV to be a "really good indication of the future of the world", the platform does have a few flaws. Primarily, he says that the 24-hour rental period is too limited for his busy schedule. Wozniak also said it feels as if he is being restricted by the tiny, simplified remote control, indicating it makes him feel less human.
While initially thinking the MacBook Air was feature deprived, as a current owner, Wozniak admits to liking the computer. He does say that the need for external connectors for Ethernet and DVD functionality are inconvenient, but that the screen and keyboard make the device very likeable.
" I don't think it's a benefit if you have to carry around a DVD player with you, a couple of extra dongles to connect to Ethernet and things, and maybe an extra hard disk to carry your music on... but still, it's the appearance. I really like it," said Wozniak of the ultraportable.

If Woz was such a has-been, then wouldn't everyone ignore him? Yet here he is speaking, and apparently one person thought it was worthy enough of listening.
But since you all just like to slam people when you're not slobbering over Jobs' ass, please explain to us, who are too stupid to understand, apparently, what Woz says that is wrong? As ender says, at worse he just has the same opinions as a lot of people. In fact, he basically says "I like them, but there are some flaws". Wow, talk about your scathing reviews.
Yeah, that's why a group got him to give a keynote address. Because everyone wants their keynotes to be done by has-been old-timers who have nothing worth saying.
Re the 24hr rental .. go bag out the movie studios, it's not a limitation of the Apple TV or the device you were asked to comment on. A more educated comment might have been "Apple TV could be even greater if the movie studios would give up on their arcadian restrictions"
Re the tiny remote .. I love it ! it's quick , it's simple I dont have to look at which 101 buttons I am pressing in the dark ... unlike for example my 101 button home theatre receiver control .. I have to turn the lights on just to see that I press the correct buttons. The only single thing that may be a slight pain with apple TV is if you have multiple itunes accounts it would be nice if it had a list of your accounts.
Woz go home ... tell someone who cares
