FileMaker Dev Conference

FileMaker today announced the start of registration for the 2008 FileMaker Developer Conference, which takes placefrom July 13th to the 17th at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. FileMaker is offering a $200 discount to registrants who act before May 16th, while all attendees will be given a complimentary copy of FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced. Registration fees for the conference start at $1200 for the basic package, and $2000 for the Passport tier pass.

This year's FileMaker Developer Conference features over 70 sessions and workshops, geared towards teaching optimized practices and new techniques, as well as some events on web services and PHP development. A few workshops will also be based off of the FileMaker Training Series modules, the official curriculum for the FileMaker 9 product line.

"Last year's FileMaker Developer Conference was one of our highest-rated ever, with satisfaction ratings as high as 93 percent -- and 94 percent of participants said they could immediately apply what they had learned," said Ryan Rosenberg, vice president of marketing and services for FileMaker. "Building on the success of last year, we are delivering more hands-on technical and business development workshops than ever before, all of which will have an immediate impact on developers' skills and success."
