In fact many Mac users have already bought the Windows version for less than $50, installed it, (because it's just game files) played and like others have stated were severely disappointed with the game.
So as another word of caution, go read the NWN Forums before you buy, and keep in mind paying $50 for a game with last years (or longer really) quality is rather absurd in my opinion.
Generally I liked the game, though the first part certainly was a huge hit with its graphics in the time, and the second wasn't. If Aspyre did solve slow graphics problem then I'm all for it.
I especially enjoyed making different characters mixing and matching different classes (and their commensurate feats and skills) honing them to my heart contents.
I miss the more strategy-based Baldur's Gate/IWD games. They had great production values in spite of their static (painstakingly-made) backgrounds and isometric p.o.v.
I have yet to install the recently-released expansion for Temple of Elemental Evil (by the Co8) - *that* game had the best combat system.
