Apple stores headed to casino resorts?

Apple stores in casinos
Apple's stores are surfacing internationally, both as stand-alone stores, and as mall boutiques, but new reports suggest that casino resorts are also on the list for Apple store destinations. According to ifoAppleStore, two new locations are in progress, one in the Forum Shops at Ceaser's Palace in Nevada, and the other at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods, Connecticut. Las Vegas residents have spotted a large barricade, titled with the words "Apple, Coming Summer 2008" in large print in the far west side of the Strip.
The validity of the Foxwoods location is currently in question, however, as the webpage containing the information is not available any longer. Management for the Foxwoods hotel and casino later said that the location was to be a reseller, not an official store. Further adding to the confusion was the mention of an "Apple Retail Store Genius Bar", and a rather Apple-sounding description of the store, rather than that of a reseller.

They do have Apple computers on sale at Foxwoods, in a store where you can redeem your Wampum points. However, there is BIG TIME price inflation if you pay cash. An Apple TV box has a price tag of $525 on it. Now that's a markup!
