VisualHub 1.31 released
Techspansion has released VisualHub 1.31, an update to its universal video conversion software for Mac OS X that works with Apple TV 'Take 2.' VisualHub eases the conversion process while offering pros an advanced panel for changing all pre-set aspects of encoding. "Converting a bunch of AVI files to a DVD shouldn't require a Computer Science degree," the company writes. "Getting movies from your digital camera to your iPod shouldn't take hours." The software is priced at $24, and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
Based on 'iSquint' conversion software for iPods, VisualHub 1.31 operates in the same fashion with the ability to quickly convert nearly every video format to iPod, PSP, DV, DVD, Tivo, AVI, MP4, WMV, MPEG, and Flash formats. The application crams up to 18 hours of video on one DVD, which will play in any standalone DVD player.
VisualHub 1.31 includes Xgrid support, allowing users to take advantage of every Mac on a network for batch encoding. QuickTime Pro and special plug-ins are not required to convert, and a dynamic preview displays results before beginning a long encoding process. The software also enables users to stitch multiple files together to combine videos, and comes with a detailed Users Guide.

visualhub really is a hub
I wouldn't have any fun without VisualHub. Every single movie file that graces my hard drive goes through VisualHub.
It does everything I need for formatting content for PS3, PSP and iPod.
