CleanApp 3

Synium Software has introduced CleanApp 3, a new version of the uninstaller and system management tool, as a public beta. The tool allows you to delete cache files, applications and other items wasting drive space. The new release is fully compatible with Leopard and features a completely redesigned graphical user interface. The logging service has been rewritten for maximum performance and the app now leverages launchd. CleanApp 3 uses less memory and CPU than CleanApp 2, and there is a new Status Display that visualizes all logged tasks.

The new release can also comprehensively list applications and their files and features interactive monitoring of the Trash. Furtherore, users can protect dedicated folders and files from deletion

CleanApp 3 requires Mac OS X 10.4.9 Tiger or Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard or higher and runs natively on any PPC or Intel Macintosh within Apple's specs for these operating systems. CleanApp 3 can be purchased for $10 during Public Beta testing. The regular pricing for CleanApp 3 (Final Release) will be $13. Upgrades from previous versions of CleanApp are free.
