Ferrari president, Apple
Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari has given praise to Apple Inc. (Italian), calling the company a "myth" that started from nothing and evolved into the most innovative company in the world. Ferrari president Luca Cordero di Montezemolo dubbed Apple revolutionary, adding that the Mac and iPod maker boasts extraordinary communication skills, according to setteB.IT. Montezemolo also made light of the fact that Apple is close to young people, and cited Google as well as Ralph Lauren among the most dynamic companies today.
Ferrari also holds an internally managed merchandising line that licenses various products bearing its famous brand. The company logo appears on bicycles, cellular phones, clothing, eyewear, laptop computers, pencils, pens, perfume, and more.
Interestingly, Ferrari recently chose Acer and AMD as technology partners for its ultimate Formula 1 race car.

I thought he was going to say that were supporting native iPod integration in their car stereos. Because that's all that's been holding me back from trading in my car.

So you'll trade in your car for a Ferrari once they have native ipod integration? Must be nice to be rich ;).

Technically, they're called MacPros now, not PowerMacs (that's so 2006ish).

when you say something is a 'myth' in english, that sounds like it's untrue, the same word in italian translates better into english as, 'mythical'.
Just saying.

lets face it, Ferrari should be going out of business soon since they have their business model all wrong, where is the sub $20,000 Ferrari for all of us cheapskates who love great engineering but don't want to pay for it. I mean lets face it, owning a Ferrari is like owning a G4 Cube, looks great but absolutely useless for gaming...

Well, if Ferrari had any desire to increase it's market share, then they would be irrelevant. But I guess it goes to show you how car analogies to computers just don't work.

Except that without Apple 'stealing the ball' from Xerox and doing something with the concept of a GUI Interface we'd ALL be still running Apps in D.O.S. to this day_ As for years Bill Gates looked at the GUI and said that DOS was the future not graphical systems_
The entire Personal Computer Industry would be very different if Steve Wozniak had not proto-typed the first Apple Computer_
The End_
