Apple posts iWork '08 compatibility updates

Apple today released updates for iWork, bringing compatibility and performance fixes to the software suite. Notes on the updates are extremely vague, but Keynote 4.0.2 allegedly solves a number of performance issues when playing or exporting presentations. Pages 3.0.2 and Numbers 1.0.2 both received fixes regarding compatibility with Mac OS X, presumably Leopard.

Where is this update? It's not in Software Update when I check it. Has this been pulled?

Really? I had no problem updating it. Remember, father Apple doesn't want us to organize our apps and utils in subfolders etc. - so make sure the apps are inside /Applications/iWork '08/

So it took Apple 4 months to release compatibility updates to it's own software, even when they have full access to the OS?

And people get on other developers when they have issues with upgrades?

Hey Jordan, make sure that all the apps are in a folder called "iWork" in your apps folder. For some reason, as great as the NeXTies stuff is, they can't get it into their heads that (gasp) some people actually move their apps around from the default location. Send feedback to Apple, this pisses me off too.
