MacBook Air unboxing photos

Photos have surfaced of Apple's new MacBook Air, depicting the new device as it was unboxed alongside separate photos of the new Time Capsule and optional MacBook Air optical drive. The notebook ships in a black box with simplistic packaging, and includes adaptors for connecting the MacBook Air to external DVI or VGA monitors.

Anyone else getting a "Private page, you can't view this album"?

Not getting that particular message. I am "just" getting the "sign up to view this". Which, of course, I am not.

MacNN didn't bother to put pic links into the post. The over-zealous IT dept. at my business block flickr, other photo sites, blog sites, A/V sites & links, and streaming audio, so I can't see the viusals that are the point of this post.

I actually wanted to have a look at how they'd emphasize the Macbook Air's thinness in the packaging. Ah, well...

What is this new craze of getting all over excited and moist about "Unboxing Photos!" It really makes me cringe.

I had a Yahoo account ages ago, so I just added Flickr to that to see if I could view it then, but it's still private. Would definitely appreciate public links, but it appears the poster made them all private, because Digg and MacRumors both link to the same private page (same account).

What do you mean "new"? Macheads have been doing this for years. (I still remember the guy who posted his 'unboxing' photos of his G5 tower, including a picture of the UPS truck parked outside his building, and a picture of the UPS guy as he opened the door. (He didn't have pictures of the man breaking his back carrying that 60lb monstrosity up the stairs, though).

I get the message that it's a private page also.

My interest is more in the Time Capsule.

Yes, I get muscle convulsions as well when I see a new mac product being unboxed, and yes it does end up quite moist.

I added Flickr to my Yahoo account, but I still get a private page message, as others have noted.
