LogMeIn Rescue Mac support

LogMeIn today unveiled remote Mac support for LogMeIn Rescue, its software-as-a-service that provides users with on-demand remote access and control to remotely diagnose, repair, and manage computers as well as smartphones. The latest release allows administrators to quickly and securely access Macs to resolve end-user or remote application issues. LogMeIn is priced from $100 per month per technician seat, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

LogMeIn Rescue is a Web-based remote support tool that allows administrators to connect to a remote computer or smartphone without requiring previously installed software.

"As Mac usage continues to grow among individual users, within small businesses and across enterprise IT environments, we have seen an increase in the demand by IT support professionals for remote access and support for Mac computers," said Marton Anka, CTO of LogMeIn. "With LogMeIn Rescue's support for PCs, Macs and smartphones, IT professionals are able to support their employees and customers with a single solution."

    LogMeIn Rescue on demand

LogMeIn Rescue is a fantastic product that I couldn't be without. I've found a few issues with Mac support like sluggish video and the occasional disconnection but in my opinion its far better than the competition.

If you want to do Mac support with LogMeIn but don't want to pay money for a licence you might want to try PCMagical.com:

    http://pcmagical.com/newengineer/

These guys combine LogMeIn rescue with PayPal so you can charge customers by the minute for doing remote support with LogMeIn Rescue.

Its worth using this to try out the software before purchasing your own LogMeIn Rescue licence.

    Take care,

    Dean
