ezGear iPod accessories

ezGear's contribution to the Macworld Expo comes in the form of several products. At the forefront is the XL90 Sound Bar, which combines two tweeters, four mid-range speakers and a separately-vented subwoofer. Its amp supplies 35W of power, and in addition to docking all iPods and iPhones, it tunes in AM/FM radio and can accept input from TVs and CD players. It should ship in March for $300.

Also expected in March are two iPod alarm docks, the WK10 and WK3. The former uses a 2.1-channel speaker system, and features two alarms, an AM/FM tuner, a dimmable display and a line-in jack. Through dock inserts, it supports all newer iPods plus the iPhone. Details of the WK3 remain largely ambiguous, but it is essentially a smaller, stripped-down version of the WK10. It will cost $50, while the WK10 will be priced at $100.

ezGear's Ultralight Armbands are made of "breathable" neoprene, and include reflective material for walking and running at night, as well as a screen protector that still allows touch control in the case of iPhones and iPod touches. Versions for the iPod Classic and 3G Nano will also be available; the iPhone/iPod touch model, the ultraTouch, is expected to ship later this month for $25.
