DLO to debut iBoom JukeBox, HomeDock in HD

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) today promised to unveil two new iPod accessories during Macworld Expo in San Francisco. The company will showcase its iBoom Jukebox (shown at right) portable speaker system for iPod, as well as an HD-enabled version of its HomeDock. DLO's iBook JukeBox is a new portable speaker system for iPod that includes an RF remote control with a full display screen that works at up to 100-feet away. The new device is due to ship this Spring for $200.

The iBoom JukeBox includes dual 1-inch tweeters as well as 3-inch woofers, allowing users to dock an iPod in the docking station that charges the portable player while in use. The iBoom JukeBox's remote signals to the player through walls, and features volume controls as well as iPod navigation functionality.





High Definition (HD) HomeDock

DLO's HD HomeDock connects an iPod to any HDTV, playing content with the highest picture quality available. The HD HomeDock is due to ship in the Spring for $250, upconverting iPod video to 1080i or 720p through an HDMI connection while maintaining compatibility with analog TV via an S-Video connection.
