NewerTech unveils six iPhone accessories

Newer Technology (NewerTech) today unveiled its new NewerTech iPhone Accessory Line consisting of six devices, and promised to showcase the accessories at Macworld Expo in San Francisco later this month. NewerTech's new iPhone accessories include its iPhone Speaker Dock & Hands-Free Mic ($35, shown at right), Hands-Free Mic & Earbuds ($20), iPhone Mic Extender Cable ($15), Bass Response Earbuds ($20), iPhone Headphone Jack Adapter ($8), and its iPhone and iPod Auto Charger ($13).

iPhone Speaker Dock & Hands-Free Mic

NewerTech's iPhone Speaker Dock & Hands-Free Mic features twin 2-watt speakers and a freestanding microphone to deliver extra speaker volume and a more powerful microphone for improved iPhone speakerphone voice quality. While an iPhone is docked, the dock chargers and controls the device with built-in volume and start/end touch buttons.

Hands-Free Mic & Earbud

The Hands-Free Mic & Earbud offers hands-free iPhone communication while driving and eliminates awkward or painful neck bending to keep the ear to the iPhone while using hands for another task, according to NewerTech. A shirt clamp securely attaches the black 39-inch long cable to prevent unsightly and dangerous cord dangle.



iPhone Mic Extender Cable

iPhone owners that also own high quality headphones with the standard 3.5mm connector can use the NewerTech iPhone Mic Extender Cable to plug into the iPhone's recessed jack for hands-free talking. An On/Off switch provides music pause, call answer/end, and music resume operation.



Bass Response Earbuds

NewerTech's Bass Response Earbuds utilize insert-passive noise reduction engineering to reduce noise an average of 42dB while boosting audio soundtracks up to 10dB at higher frequencies. The earbuds deliver bass response and volume levels with less energy while keeping out unwanted and distracting ambient background noise, according to the company, and have a frequency response of 10-20,000 Hz with sensitivity of 105dB (+/- 3dB).



iPhone Headphone Jack Adapter

The iPhone Headphone Jack Adapter solves the incompatibility issue between 1/8-inch (3.5mm) headphone connectors and the iPhone's recessed headphone jack. The adapter fits correctly and snugly into the iPhone to facilitate the use of existing headphones without any modification or loss of sound.



iPhone and iPod Auto Charger

The new iPhone and iPod Auto Charger is compatible with any vehicle's standard 12V power/accessory outlet, charging an iPhone or iPod while driving. The device works in domestic as well as foreign vehicles, and ships with a 43-inch black cable for iPhone or iPod use while charging.
