mStation cases, Orb II

mStation today announced several additions to its product lineup in time for CES 2008, with new iPod and iPhone cases and a new incarnation of its 2.1 Stereo Orb. The mStation 2.1 Stereo Orb II comes in several new colors that compliment the look and feel of the 3G iPod nanos, with a choice of the following: red, black, green, pink, and silver. The speaker system is compatible with any iPod and the iPhone, as well as being able to sync with iTunes through the included USB connection. Users can control the unit with a 10-key remote, or through the embedded controls on the Orb II itself. The mStation 2.1 Stereo Orb II will be available during the first quarter of 2008 for $130.

mStation’s Mophie Knox case ($40) is designed to allow users to keep money and credit cards securely fastened to the front part, while the back part holds their iPod nano. It is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, and is available in a choice of black, pink, red, or silver. The Mophie Knox case is currently designed for the 2G Nano, with a 3G version shipping during the first quarter of 2008.

The Mophie Radura ($20) is a clear case, made from polycarbonate plastics. The case covers all scratch-able surfaces on the iPod, but leaves the scroll wheel and any connectors available for use. Versions for the 80GB and 160GB iPod classic and the 3G Nano feature three rubberized inserts to add shock resistance; the inserts are black, pink, and green, with the latter two able to glow in the dark. The Radura will be available for 3G Nanos, iPod Classics, and the iPhone in early 2008, while versions for the 2G Nano and iPod with video are currently shipping.

The Mophie Base Case ($15) is made from silicone rubber, providing the iPod with shock protection against bumps and drops. Color availability ranges from black, pink, or frost; the case is currently shipping for the 2G Nano and iPod with video, while versions for the iPhone, iPod touch, 3G Nano, and Classic will be available during the first quarter of 2008. mStation’s accompanying Mophie Ratchet ($20) includes a frost Base Case, but can wbe used with any of the available Base Cases or Raduras. The Ratchet is made from hard plastic, and can swivel 360-degrees. It is currently shipping for the 2G Nano, and will be available in early 2008 for the iPhone, iPod touch, 3G Nano, and Classic.

Lastly, Mophie Run ($25) is a non-slip armband made from hard plastic and breathable cloth. The case can swivel 360-degrees, allowing users to move it to a comfortable position while they exercise. As with most of the other cases, it is available for the 2G Nano and iPod with video, with versions for the iPhone, iPod touch, 3G Nano, and Classic shipping early this year.
