CrushFTP 4.5

CrushFTP 4.5, a significant update to the full-scale FTP server by Ben Spink, adds rolling account expiration days, better support for iCal calendar publishing and subscribing, a new report to notify when new files have been added to a users directory, and SFTP enhancements.  Additionally the WebInterface now supports adding items to a download basket so that you can then download the entire basket as a single .zip file.  Several bug fixes are also included in this version.  CrushFTP 4.5 is a free update to registered 4.x users.

Version 4.5 adds support for FTP and FTPS proxying in the Virtual File System, rolling expiration days to user manager (an account can stay active as long as the user logs in frequently.). Also, reports are now executed on the server and not the remote admin client if running a report remotely. The new release also includes better support for iCal authentication when subscribing to published calendars, adds a quick pick for users on the report screen, a feature to magicdir plugin that allows referring to files in the magic dir in the email notification and a new report to send email notifications when new files are added into users folders

Among the bugs fixed are an issue with with auto update not working when daemon is installed, a problem with the User Manager notes field and the @ sign, a bug with overall server bandwidth limiting. Now accurate to within a few kilobytes and an issue with quota showing as 300 MB when no quota was set. There are also a few GUI glitches with OS X 10.5 Leopard that were resolved.

CrushFTP is priced between $30 and $150 depending on the number of concurrent users.
