Avery at Macworld SF

Avery Dennison will unveil Avery DesignPro at the Macworld Expo this month, a new standalone application that allows users to print on any Avery label or card product. DesignPro includes over 1300 preset layouts and over 2000 clip art and photo images to embellish users' projects. Avery designed the software to have easy access to iPhoto libraries, enabling users to quickly access their personal photos to use with DesignPro. Avery DesignPro will be shown publicly at Avery's Macworld booth, where users can sign up to participate in the beta test. Avery expects to sell the application in the second quarter of 2008.

DesignPro can also interface with iTunes to print jewel case covers, while Mail and address book integration allow users to merge information into lists for the purpose of printing mailing labels. It also supports Quick Look in Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, so users can see the contents of a file before they launch DesignPro.

"DesignPro offers maximum creativity when designing and printing Avery products," said Peta-Gaye Latibeaudiere, Senior Product Manager for Avery Dennison. "We made a conscious effort to design a quality Mac product and are confident that DesignPro will meet the high expectations of Mac users. We look forward to demonstrating the product at Macworld."

    mailing labels

I use to print out a lot of my own address labels using either word or excel. I use to have a few problems with getting the text on the labels to print within the margains but i managed to solve this when i downloaded some templates. These days i pay for a british labels company to print my address labels as i no longer have the time to print them myself.
