Ambrosia issues updates

Ambrosia Software has released updates to two applications and one game, signaling the arrival of WireTap Studio 1.0.4 along with iSeek 1.1.3 and pop-pop 1.0.6. WireTap Studio 1.0.4 is a free update to the audio recording and management application that offers enhanced Leopard compatibility alongside other fixes and enhancements. WireTap Studio is priced at $70 and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later. Upgrades for WireTap Pro users are priced at 30.

The latest release of WireTap Studio supports AMR, 3GP, and 3GPP2 file formats under Mac OS X Leopard. The update also correctly plays m4a files with tags in QuickTime Player, and includes various other bug fixes.

WireTap Studio is designed to serve as a complete audio recording and management solution, according to Ambrosia, allowing users to record the discrete audio output of any application as well as all system audio. WireTap Studio also supports recording audio input from any microphone, line-in, or audio input hardware.

iSeek 1.1.3

iSeek 1.1.3 is a free update that fixes an issue with PowerPC-based Macs, enhances Leopard compatibility, and integrates a registration system into the search software.

The application allows users to instantly search for content on the internet regardless of what program is running at the time. iSeek puts a search field in the menu bar, requiring a click or keystroke to start a search. Pre-configured search shortcuts for dozens of internet resources are included, while a companion widget allows quick Dashboard searching when running the application under Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5.

iSeek 1.1.3 is priced at $15.

Pop-pop 1.0.6

Pop-pop 1.0.6 brings various bug fixes and enhancements to the arcade action game. Pop-pop includes more than 100 built-in puzzle levels for solo play, as well as aggressive computer AI 'pops' and internet-based multiplayer capability.

Pop-pop is priced at $25, and requires Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
