Ted Landau, in association with TidBITS Publishing, has released "Take Control of Your iPhone," a 195-page ebook explaining how to use iPhones more effectively and with less hassle, including dozens of step-by-step problem-solving procedures. Tutorial: Restore single images in Aperture

Bagelturf has posted a tutorial explaining how to restore a single image from an Aperture vault. "By navigating down into the vault or by searching, the image can be located and copied out using the Finder. Once copied, it can be imported back into Aperture. This will lose all versions and adjustments, and any metadata that is not part of the original master file." The techniques in the tutorial can also be used to find out if the image really was deleted from the Library in the first place.
