Ubercaster, ShowMacster
Pleasant Software today promised to unveil new versions of both Ubercaster and ShowMacster at Macworld Expo 2008 in San Francisco early next year. The first in a series of planned Ubercaster 1.5 sneak peeks is already available via the company's blog, and Pleasant Software is already scheduled to attend Macworld Expo 2008 from January 15-18 with shows and software products at booth no. S-1338.
Ubercaster is designed as a complete production suite for podcasting on the Macintosh that is made with podcaster's needs in mind. Versatile options enable users to record shows in a familiar way while utilizing the software's advanced cut and release tools. Ubercaster also offers live audio recording with auto ducking, effects, chapters for enhanced podcasts, ID3 tags, album cover art, mp3/AAC/AIFF encoding, and more.
ShowMacster serves as an extension to Apple's iChat application that enables users to stream pictures, movies, sketches, and live screen casts during a video conference. The software adds a drawer to the video chat window that seamlessly integrates with iChat, allowing users to import a collection of favorite pictures or movies to show them instantly.
