2TB Tivo Series 3

WeaKnees.com has recently unveiled upgraded Series 3 TiVo DVRs, featuring both an internal and external hard drive, each rated at one terabyte. The hard drives work in tandem to provide 292 hours of HD video storage - up from TiVo's current 20 to 30 hours - or 2800 hours of standard definition video. The units come with cables, a backlit, programmable remote, and a six month warranty for parts, labor and technical support. WeaKnees.com is selling the upgraded TiVos for $1800, and are offering a $200 mail-in rebate

The two-terabyte unit is the latest addition to WeaKnees.com's upgraded TiVo lineup. Also available are the 300 hour SD, 650 hour, 1015 hour, and 1350 hour models, which range from $650 to $1250, and are also affected by the rebate offer. Users can also send their TiVo units in to WeaKnees.com and have a professional technician upgrade the unit.

"We work extremely hard to give customers the information and materials needed for a successful, easy upgrade," said Michael Adberg, co-founder of WeaKnees.com. "For those who aren't comfortable with opening their TiVo or DVR casing, we also provide professional installation services, enabling customers to send in their DVR for onsite hard drive upgrades.  Once the upgrade is completed, our staff will ship the DVR back to customer at no additional cost."
