Free 3D Hearts Deluxe

Casual Mac game development and publishing firm Feeverse has re-launched its Macfun.com website and is offering visitors a free copy of the 3D Hearts Deluxe card game. Macfun.com originally launched as a home for Mac gamers hoping to find the best games for their systems, and the re-design aims to ease the process of finding a specific game. The company has also begun shipping three new game titles which include Chocolatier, Dream Chronicles, and Diner Dash: Hometown Heroes. New games are scheduled for release every week on Friday, and Freeverse promises to always offer at least one free game at any given time.

"I'm excited about the ability of MacFun.com to help bring the latest and best games to the whole Mac community," Ian Lynch Smith said, president of Freeverse. "With the recent success of Apple there's been a tremendous interest in finding easy and fun games for the Mac and there are some absolutely fantastic games out there."

3D Hearts Deluxe pits players against dozens of colorful computer opponents or alternatively online against real people from around the globe. The strategy card game offers both novice and advanced skill settings, as well as support for the most popular rule variations and a built-in tutorial to help new players.

Freeverse offers numerous well-known Mac games such as Bejewelled, Zuma, and the popular Diner Dash series. The firm boasts 15 years of experience creating as well as publishing Mac games, focusing specifically on Mac OS and the Xbox 360 platforms.

    Free... for only $20!

That link leads to the downloadable demo, and wants $19.95 to register it. A bit of digging leads to the proper download link, http://macfun.purestatic.com/Images/3DHearts.dmg

Just in case you wanted to know :)

    Free?

Am I missing something? When I go to Freeverse's website via the link in the article, it isn't free, but $19.95.

    Oh, I see

The FIRST link in the article ("re-launched its Macfun.com website") takes you to the free download. The second ("free copy of the 3D Hearts Deluxe") doesn't.
