Booq Mamba notebook bags

Accessory maker Booq has begun selling the first of its 2008 Mamba bags, designed to carry notebooks by various different means. Currently available in the series is the Sling, which fits 13-inch MacBooks and 15-inch MacBook Pros, while also sporting six mesh accessory pockets, two open internal pockets for items such as books and folders, and three exterior zippered pockets for carrying tall or otherwise encumbering objects. The front and rear of the Sling also have pockets meant for items such as newspapers. The exterior fabric is water-repellant and comes in red, black, brown or blue colors; the bag retails for $125.

Coming on December 12th are the Saddle and Pack, which fit the same sizes of MacBook and come in the same colors, but vary in terms of space and price. The Saddle may in some ways have more room, although it cannot be carried as securely as the Pack or Sling. The Saddle will cost $135, while the Pack should ship for $145.
