Sandvox works with Leopard
Karelia Software has released Sandvox 1.2.4, the latest revision of its website creation software for Mac OS X that offers Leopard compatibility. Released on the heels of Leopard, the latest release of Sandvox improves site design elements and includes bug fixes as well as other optimizations. The update improves compatibility with iPhoto as well as other iLife applications, and offers up-to-date documentation via the Help feature. Sandvox 1.2.4 is priced at $50 for the regular edition and $80 for the pro version, both of which require Mac OS X 10.4.4 or later.
Sandvox provides drag-and-drop website assembly functionality alongside the ability to edit live without a preview mode. The software includes more than 40 designs with 17 different types of "Pagelets" -- or a miniature Web page that users can place alongside a page's main content to display supplemental information.
The Web design application runs natively on Intel-based Macs as a Universal Binary, is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, and comes in eight localizations which include English, French, Italian, Danish, German, Japanese, and both Simplified as well as Traditional Chinese.
