Peachpit Leopard books Peachpit has launched a number of new book titles concerning Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Among them: Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard: Visual QuickStart Guide, reference to the essentials of Mac OS X Leopard, including new and revamped applications; Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard: Peachpit Learning Series, training book for getting started with Leopard and capitalizing on all the new features; The Little Mac Book, Leopard Edition, adopts a back-to-basics approach to introduce users to Leopard.
Timbuktu Pro 8.7 now Leopard compatible
Motorola has introduced Timbuktu Pro 8.7, an update to the cross-platform
desktop remote control software that is now compatible with Mac OS X Leopard. This latest version is backwards compatible to version 6.0 of the software. The tool can find, connect to, and control a remote PC or Mac desktop using a Skype "tunnel" without an active call. It can also automatically set up a Skype tunnel to navigate through firewalls and routers.
Sound Studio 3.3.5 compatible with Mac OS X 10.5
Freeverse has announced the release of Sound Studio 3.5.5, an update to the popular sound recording and editing tool. This updated version provides full compatibility for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, along with other enhancements and fixes. It adds a "Set Zoom to Default" menu item command, fixes a bug with default window size, fixes a bug with opening System 7 Sound files and fixes a bug with the AppleScript "change pitch" command. Freeverse also announced the release of updates to the Monbot automation assistants for Sound Studio 3. The updates provide full compatibility with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Sound Studio 3.5.5 is priced at $80.
