MacLive Expo Day 1

Day one of MacLive Expo 2007 has come to a close, and Italian Mac news website setteB.IT was there with camera in-hand. Some of the highlights from the show include new offerings from premium bag manufacturers Crumpler and TSM, aesthetically-conscious accessory manufacturer Contour Design, New York-based designer Built, and Apple-centric peripheral company Macally (although not at the conference in an official capacity).

Despite a no-show by Apple, with two days remaining companies continue to tout their wares at one of the few larger scale Apple-centric conferences. MacLive Expo, which runs through Saturday, October 27, does include exhibitors such as Nikon, Parallels, Microsoft, and Wacom.

    Disappointing

It took less than half an hour to see everything at MacExpo this year. I hadn't read that Apple had pulled out, and Adobe is obviously concentrating on its own Adobe Live event, so two of the biggest stands were completely absent. No sign of Leopard obviously before its launch. Quite a disappointment -- I actually told people not to bother going.
