New GizMac server racks

GizMac Accessories today introduced the second generation of its XRackPro2 noise reducing server racks. The device reduces noise by up to 80 percent, according to the company, and features an air filtration system to guard the enclosure's contents from harmful dust. GizMac says its rack's controlled airflow aids cooling, improves noise reduction, and allows for the air filtration system to function. GizMac's second generation XRackPro2 server racks are priced at $1,900 and $2,350 for 12U and 25U versions, respectively.

The filters used in the GizMac's XRackPro2 are custom made to filter airflow into its server racks, offering a pleated design for greater surface area to trap more particles while improving air circulation. The custom air filters are also reinforced with a metal grid to prevent collapsing due to high airflow volume created by strong fans.

"Cleaner air means cleaner equipment; cleaner equipment means reduced maintenance and less down time," said Ken Vitto, director of marketing for GizMac Accessories. "We are excited to have developed air filtration for the second generation XRackPro2, some companies will buy the new XRackPro for the filtering alone and the noise reduction will be an added benefit."

The XRackPro2 is designed for post production facilities, business as well as medical offices, schools, or any other establishment that requires cool and reliable rackmounted devices.
