Pomoto: iPhoto galleries

Pomoto.com has released Pomoto 1.0, a new "all-in-one" solution for publishing a Web photo gallery directly from Apple's iPhoto library. The software combines a desktop application as well as a hosted online service, enabling users to easily showcase photo galleries online with a simple and intuitive publishing tool. Users have full control over photo galleries, according to Pomoto.com, and once published the galleries are available online to friends and family. The subscription-based service is priced at $3 per month or $30 per year, with free trials limiting usage to 15 days and 50 photos total. The publishing application requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.

"Pomoto's publisher was designed as the perfect complement to iPhoto. With a simple and intuitive interface that is instantly recognizable, Pomoto makes publishing your photos a fun experience regardless of whether you're a Mac newbie or a seasoned pro."

Users select from multiple themes to build galleries, and choose from as well as customize CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) if desired for additional personalization. The software does not inject any advertisements, producing a "clean" gallery with just those photos chosen.
