Micronet today unveiled its new 11N Wireless Networking series of Wi-Fi equipment. The company's SP916N WLAN Broadband Router enables numerous users to split internet access and prevent malicious attacks from users with ill intentions, while the SP906N Wireless LAN PCI Card and SP907N Wireless LAN USB Adapter provide a smiple way to add or upgrade notebook wireless connectivity. The Micronet SP916N boasts compatibility with IEEE 802.11b/g/Draft-N standards alongside throughput of up to 300Mbps while sharing a single cable of xDSL with four wired LAN ports supporting 10/100Mbps. The device includes DHCP functionality for easy IP address setup, and offers advanced network features like Special Applications and DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) alongside virtual servers and access control with firewall protection (pricing was unavailable).

The Micronet SP906N works with the latest 802.11n networking standard for wireless transmission of up to 300Mbps and wireless security via 64/128-bit WEP, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK encryption. The device works with Windows 2000/XP/XP64 and Vista to monitor and control wireless LAN with QoS functionality to manage bandwidth required for various applications. The 32-bit PCI interface transmits via a detachable antenna with 2T3R MIMO technology radio mobulation and in the frequency band of 2.4-2.4835GHz.

The Micronet SP907N also works with 802.11n wireless technology by using a high efficiency antenna to expand the scope of the wireless network. Supporting the WEP, WPA, and WPA2 encryption methods enable notebook owners with USB 2.0 ports to install the card to access Wireless 802.11n networks securely, while the SP907N's features mimick those of its SP906N sibling.
