ToughTech FS drive case

WiebeTech on Monday added another enclosure to its popular ToughTech desktop line. The new ToughTech FS uses the triple interface Oxford 934 chipset and includes two FireWire 400 ports and single USB2.0 port and eSATA ports. Supporting both SATA 1 and SATA 2 hard drives, it is economically priced starting at $80 and is available now. The company's ToughTech models feature FlexMount anti-shock protection -- a shock absorber that mounts between the drive and the enclosure and protects the data against bumps and vibrations. The product line also includes the advanced ToughTech XE, which features one USB port, two FireWire 800 (1394b) connectors and one eSATA port and the entry-level ToughTech 400, which features one USB mini-B receptacle and two 6-pin FireWire 400 (1394a) connectors. The new ToughTech FS drive enclosure is available in case-only ($80), 250GB ($185), 500GB ($318), 750GB ($416), and 1TB ($611) models.
