We have posted a review of VMWare Fusion, the virtualization software that allows Windows and other operating systems to be run on top of Mac OS X. VMware did their best to make things convenient for the user who has not installed Windows in Boot Camp. The software Windows Easy Install assistant that asks a few simple questions, such as where you would like the virtual hard drive stored, how large should it be, and the license key of your Windows CD. It then proceeds to install without requiring any further interaction. This is simply the easiest Windows installation ever, easier than installing Windows on a PC.

CBS happy with iTunes deal, will stay out of battle

Unlike NBC, which said it would yank its shows from iTunes after expiration of the current contract, in turn causing Apple to pull NBC content from the store, CBS says it is perfectly happy with the current arrangement, and has no plans to seek alteration. CBS Chief Executive Les Moonves told Reuters that the company is "staying out of the battle," adding that he views iTunes "as much as a promotional vehicle for our shows as a financial vehicle." Meanwhile, NBC and News Corp plan to debut an advertising online-video joint venture called Hulu in October.
