Apple has trademarked "MainStage," term which relates directly to the recent release of its Logic Studio software. Hong Kong's Intellectual Office today published the Cupertino-based company's trademark under application number 300953901, which was filed under international classifications 9, 16, 41 and 42. Apple asserts a claim of priority based on Trinidad and Tobago application number 38555, which was filed in June of this year. The term MainStage was used last week in an Apple press release describing the company's new software: "MainStage turns the Mac into a powerful live performance rig that produces reliable, consistent sound—whether music is being made at home, in a rehearsal space, or in front of an audience."
