iPod touch Billboard Ads
Peter Weisz, a freelance designer has created some proposed billboard design concepts promoting Apple’s new iPod touch. Weisz says "Here are the campaign objectives used in designing these ads: Concise message. Drivers typically have less than three seconds to notice and process billboard content. The ads are instantly identifiable as coming from Apple and making the copy familiar, fun and easy to digest. Promoting the new name. Using the rebus format makes each ad into something of a puzzle or game with the solution always the same: “touch.” Love of Music. Leveraging the single biggest factor accounting for the iPod’s phenomenal success: the user’s love of music. Depicting music icons builds upon this strong fundamental connection."

Cuz OBVIOUSLY Apple would be working on an update that is one major revision and one minor revision away (1.0.2 -> 1.1.0 -> 1.1.1), if not a full 9 revisions in the future (1.0.2 -> 1.0.3 ... 1.0.9 -> 1.1.0 -> 1.1.1).
