iFixit: Tear-down photos of iPod touch
In addition to our unboxing photos, iFixit very kindly provided MacNN with some hi-res photos of the tear-down of the iPod touch. The Touch, which has shipped to many retail locations ahead of customers who pre-ordered the item, is now available at many Best Buy locations as well as some Apple retail locations.

What the hell happened over there at Apple? $200 price drop after less than 8 weeks on the market. They kill offer the 4 gig iPhone in the same time frame. Is someone new in charge of marketing??

Nobody is forcing you to be the first to buy it. If the FedEx plane your iPod Touch is on crashes, you won't get it first. Sit back, and have some patience.
