MarsEdit 2 released
Red Sweater has released MarsEdit 2, a substantial update to its weblog publishing software. Some supported blog formats include Blogger, LiveJournal, WordPress and more. The interface of v2.0 has been redesigned, based around an e-mail archetype, and now incorporates a Flickr tab for browsing and selecting images. Users can also insert HTML markup macros, creating their own by transforming editor or pasteboard text. Finally, text and HTML previews can be printed out, and the post editor can be tweaked to hide unnecessary fields, or publish new categories and slugs. MarsEdit is a Universal Binary for Mac OS X 10.4, and costs $30.
