MacNN has reviewed JoeSoft's Jax ($50), an iTunes plug-in that adds new features to Apple's multimedia software. Jax installs an icon on the iTunes toolbar that enables one-click launch of the software, allowing users to add lyrics as well as album art and YouTube/Google video content to offer a more complete playlist experience.

Belkin supports breast cancer research

Belkin is offering its latest iPod cases designed for Apple's Nano and Shuffle models as a means to help fight the war against breast cancer. The accessory-maker is donating 10 percent of the retail price of each pink and bone-colored cases to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
