O'Reilly Media has published a new book on Flash CS3 Professional, PhotoshopCafe.com is offering two training titles on Adobe's Flash CS3, and the Photographer's User Group in Oregon is meeting on September 4th. MacNN has reviewed JoeSoft's Jax ($50), an iTunes plug-in that adds new features to Apple's multimedia software. Jax installs an icon on the iTunes toolbar that enables one-click launch of the software, allowing users to add lyrics as well as album art and YouTube/Google video content to offer a more complete playlist experience.

Belkin supports breast cancer research
Belkin is offering its latest iPod cases designed for Apple's Nano and Shuffle models as a means to help fight the war against breast cancer. The accessory-maker is donating 10 percent of the retail price of each pink and bone-colored cases to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
