Tuesday, August 21stLexmark unveils Wi-Fi all-in-one printers
The all-in-one systems also feature the Lexmark Toolbar to make Web printing more efficient, Photo media card slots as well as a PictBridge port for easy access to photos, borderless printing that the company says can last up to 100 years on Lexmark's "PerfectFinish paper," scan-back proof sheets for quick photo prints, and Lexmark Imaging Studio software to perform various tasks on photos like red eye reduction and cropping.
The company also unveiled a single-function wireless printer alongside two traditional all-in-one printer models. Lexmark's Z1520 wireless color printer is designed for users who want a robust single-function wireless printer, while its X5070 and X5495 color all-in-one devices are aimed at users who don't require wireless printing capabilities.
Lexmark's X6570 wireless all-in-one offers print speeds of up to 28 pages-per-minute (ppm) in black and 24ppm in color, while the company's X7550 offers faster speeds of up to 30ppm in black and 27ppm in color. The Lexmark Z1520 wireless color printer prints at speeds of up to 30ppm in black and 27ppm in color.
The non-wireless color all-in-one Lexmark X5070 printer boasts print speeds up to 24ppm in black and 17ppm in color, while the X5495 color all-in-one prints at speeds up to 25ppm in black and 18ppm in color.
All of Lexmark's newly introduced multifunction devices are expected to ship in September except the Lexar X5495, which will begin shipping in December.
