Photoshop World early registration -- which is accompanied by a $100 discount off the normal price of attendance -- will end this Friday, August 3rd. The west coast Photoshop World Conference and Expo will be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Convention Center in Las Vegas from September 6-8, 2007. The conference features more than 80 in-depth classes, and houses the Photoshop World Tech Expo, which features exhibitors like Adobe, Microsoft, Epson, Canon, Dell, Wacom, Corel, iStockphoto, onOne software, B&H, and Peachpit Press. Registration is $599 before August 3, 2007, and $699 after for the general public. The NAPP member price is $499 before August 3, 2007, and $599 after.

Lead management for the iPhone

a la mode, inc, a company that specializes in real estate industry applications, has announced new lead management tools built specifically for the iPhone. "Always-on broadband, integrated Google Maps, phone, contacts, SMS messaging, and a full-fledged browser make the iPhone a compelling mobile device for realtors," said Rusty Lindquist, Vice President of Broker and Agent products for a la mode.

TRAKTOR 3 Tutorial DVD available

Native Instruments has introduced a new tutorial DVD for its TRAKTOR 3 software for DJs that features four fully-featured playback decks. The disc has video tutorials, artist interviews and special workshop content. It includes more than three hours of high-resolution video, and is hosted by professional DJs and TRAKTOR experts Chris Liebing and Kabuki. The DVD is available for a suggested retail price of $44.

Corel Painter master to demo at SIGGRAPH

Corel Painter Master Don Seegmiller will be demonstrating Corel Painter X at SIGGRAPH 2007 as Corel's special guest at booth #1645. Seegmiller is the author of a book titled "Digital Character Design and Painting," and a well-known artist in the concept art and game developer communities. In addition, Don will be presenting Concept Art with Corel Painter X at the SIGGRAPH Guerilla Studio from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 7, and Wednesday, August 8.

OpenGL bootcamp early bird registration extended

Big Nerd Ranch Europe has announced a one week extension to the early bird offer for its OpenGL Bootcamp. Students signing up before August 10 will save 200 euros on the net class price (the normal price is 2800 euros). OpenGL Bootcamp is an intensive 5-day training course on the graphics technology taught by Rocco Bowling.
