Shoe Pouch now available in 8 colors
Shoe Pouch for the Nike+iPod Sport Kit is now available in eight colors: black, red, hot pink, neon green, teal blue, navy blue, purple, and gray. The Shoe Pouch is designed to allow runners and walkers to use the sensor from the Nike+iPod Sport Kit without having to purchase special Nike+ shoes.
The add-ons primary goal is provide secure attachment to the shoe, since this is critical in maintaining the accuracy of the sensor. To that end it includes reinforced loops, high-quality neoprene and stitching, and a Velcro strip covering the slit where the sensor is inserted. The Shoe Pouch is priced at $8.
Peachpit "Voices that matter" conference
"Voices That Matter: Web Design" is the name of a new conference being held by New Riders, and imprint of Peachpit. Speakers at the conference include including Steve Krug, Jeremy Keith, Eric Meyer, Dori Smith, Stephanie Sullivan, and many others. The conference will take place at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco, October 22-25, 2007. Sessions at the conference will include practical case studies and design solutions to help problem-solve real-word Web design challenges.
