Consumers who purchased iPhones over the weekend likely encountered an error message when trying to activate their handsets, Scenario Software has released a poker game for iPhone users, a new portal designed for iPhone is available that provides free Web 2.0 mobile applications, RateVegas.com is offering an optimized version of its Las Vegas hotel review site for iPhone owners, and ezGear has promised to ship three of its iPhone cases with invisibleSHIELD scratch protection. iPhone activations were put on hold over part of the weekend, according to one MacNN reader who purchased an 8GB iPhone. Upon attempting to activate the handset, the user encountered an error message stating that registrations would be unavailable until 3:00 p.m. EST on Sunday due to AT&T system maintenance.

Scenario Software has released Scenario Poker Texas Hold 'em Tournament simulation 2.7, a Web 2.0 application enabling users to choose from an 8-player portrait mode or a 10-player landscape mode via the game's website. The company is also allowing current Scenario Poker widget license holders to use the same activation code for the iPhone version for a limited time, while new users can purchase a license for $10.
