Nokia N95 8GB Leak

The Nokia N95 should see a sequel with enough storage to tackle the iPhone, says an unintentional leak by the Finnish company itself. An XML file for the phone's web browser user agent has shown up on Nokia's website that points to an N95 with 8GB of internal storage, far more than the 160MB built into today's version and placing it in direct contention with Apple's device. But the device may be a significant redesign or even a new N-series phone altogether, according to reports.

While most details of the phone itself are unavailable, the upcoming device is said to use a variant on the Symbian Series 60 OS found in the N95 and is only labeled like the earlier handset to prevent an early discovery. Bluetooth with stereo support, a 240x320 LCD, and HSDPA broadband are also mentioned in the document. The features will likely cater towards the higher end of Nokia's devices and may have a price to match, though the device has not seen the bootleg photos or other leaks that often point to an upcoming release, suggesting a release that may not surface until later in the year.
