Contour Design ships iSee for iPhone
Contour Design today began shipping the iSee for iPhone, a contoured and clear case designed for Apple's iPhone designed to guard the handset from damage while showing off the phone's sleek design. The shell offers accessibility to all of the iPhone's connections and controls, including the touch-screen. A case/holster combination allows users to eat the iPhone in a forward, backward, horizontal, or vertical position as needed. The case allows for easy phone insertion and removal, while small rubber feet offer stability on flat surfaces. Contour Design's iSee for iPhone is priced at $30.

I've heard of people performing experiments on the iPhone, but ingenstion? That's a new one.
As for the fatal part, I was holding the iPhone in hand when it drop and the case came apart into it's 3 pieces and my iPhone was on the ground face down!
The glass screen was cracked! I couldn't believe it! The case wasn't broken by my iPhone was! Why the case did not stay on the iPhone and protect it, I do not know.
The case manufacturer's initial response: We only cover the case itself not the item damaged!
So ask yourself, do yuou really want this case?
How could they already make updates to the item and currently be in stores, when the iPhone just came out on Friday! I was on the phone with them just the other day and no one made any mentioned of an updated version for the holster.
Even if they did make an update to the holster, what about the individuals who've already purchased the defective ones, do they/we just suppose to deal with it? Have they told Apple stores and the like to pull them off the shelf, as they should be?
A friend of mine purchased a iPhone on Monday and against my advice bought the same iSee case and has already had several instances where his iPhone has pooped out from off of the holster. Poor design…I repeat poor design.
Update the case too! The Geniuses at the Apple store informed me that it was the oblong opening (of the cheap plastic case) around the earpiece what evidently made the iPhone glass crack.
I’m going to wait for Griffin’s iClear case (they say its made with the same material as the astronauts’ faceplates). I looked at the clear acrylic case by Belkin, but it too seems rather cheap.
Buyers beware. I’m just glad Apple (Applecare) stepped up to the plate and covered the unit by replacing it. They at least want to investigate what went wrong so as to rectify the situation.
