Update fixes audio pops

Apple today released an update to its previous security patch which the company issued last week, fixing an issue that surfaced as a result of the prior fix. Following Apple's last update, numerous owners of Intel-based Macs reported a strange popping sound alongside any audio content when piping sound through external speakers. Apple notes that Version 1.1 of the Mac OS X 10.4.10 update is not affected by the audio issue and does not require the Audio Update 2007-001 update. A separate software update to address the audio issue is available for Intel-based Macs running Mac OS X 10.4.10, and PowerPC-based systems are not affected.

    Not security update

I believe it was the 10.4.10 update that caused the issue, not the security patch. At least, one would hope not the security patch, for what reason would a security patch have to s**** around with the audio kexts.

    Yipeee.... oh wait

Hey the audio popping went away and I am enjoying listen to iTunes..... Oh wait, my larger library is not on my laptop and is on an external USB drive. Guess what, the Audio popping is gone and I do not have to listen to the other 7000 songs I have to even see if its gone because 10.4.10 killed access to my external USB drive. So, 10.4.10's stated goal of fixing annoying USB problems fixed them by eliminating those annoying USB devices we use.
