iPhone on auction to fight hunger

iPhone auction vs. hunger

An iPhone is now on auction to alleviate hunger in Louisiana. The website Hungrr.com, which specializes in awareness of hunger issues, is selling an unopened, 8GB phone at the starting bid of $1,000, with all proceeds going to the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana. Many of those serviced by the Bank were impoverished by the effects of Hurricane Katrina. While the auction may ultimately go the highest bid by July 11th, particularly generous bidders can pay $100,000 to have their iPhone as soon as possible.
