Adobe CS3 Premium/Master

Adobe has begun shipping two new versions of Creative Suite 3, its collection of artistic and publishing tools. Production Premium is designed for video post-production, an incorporates software such as After Effects, Encore, Premiere Pro and Soundbooth, as well as more tangential software including Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop Extended. Together these programs handle virtually every aspect of post-production, and can transform film and SD/HD input to output for DVD, the web and portable devices. Production Premium is $1,700 new or a minimum of $800 as an upgrade.

The Master Collection simply amasses all of Adobe's CS3 products together, and more; software not in Production Premium includes Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and InDesign, as well as the non-CS3 applications Contribute (for website content updates) and Acrobat 8 Professional. All versions of Creative Suite are linked by software such as Bridge and Version Cue. The full edition of the Master Collection costs $2,500, while upgrade prices start at $1,400.

    Adobe Eeropean pricing

Adobe are ripping off Europeans. Production Premium is US$1700 in the US but US$2715 PLUS TAX in the EU. (1999 Euro). There is no excuse for this greed. This should be 1251 EUro at today's exchange rate.

    golive...

...is deprecated. let it go. dreamweaver won, by a landslide. there is no reason to sell or support new versions of golive. thank god.
