In brief: MacNN has reviewed Data Backup 3, AT&T plans to begin selling iTunes Gift Cards starting June 29th, Apple Expo is set to take place between September 25-29th this year at Porte De Versailles in Paris, the Jaman movie download service is offering Apple TV owners a taste of high-definition entertainment, and ShaggyMac has added a cleaning sponge to its line of laptop accessories. MacNN has reviewed Data Backup 3 from ProSoft Engineering ($60, shown at right), an application designed to help users back up files on Mac systems without much hassle while also providing numerous options for backup media. Users can back up everything but the system, all documents as well as data files, everything in a particular user's folder, and more.
AT&T to offer iTunes gift cards
AT&T has revealed plans to sell iTunes gift cards starting June 29th, allowing recipients to purchase music as well as TV Shows and movies from the online digital storefront. The cellular carrier will offer gift cards with amounts of $25 and $50.
Apple Expo begins September 25th
The annual Apple Expo is set to take place between September 25-29th at Porte De Versailles in Paris, France. Organized by Reed Expositions, this year's event will host 200 partner companies and subdivide the show floor into divisions by category. Those categories include professional, education, music, and business and innovation solutions.
HD on Apple TV, ShaggyMac Eraser
The Jaman movie download service and online community are offering Apple TV owners a sample of its high definition content via a plug-in preview that provides access to the service's library of movies and shorts.... ShaggyMac has added the Eraser advanced micro cleaning sponge ($4) to its line of laptop accessories, offering notebook owners a soft cleaning surface to remove tough dirt from equipment surfaces.
