Free iPhones for Apple employees

Apple employee iPhones
Apple chief Steve Jobs today promised to provide all full-time Apple employees with free 8GB iPhones, and bequeathed all part-time employees who have been with the company for more than one year free iPhones as well. The company head today informed Apple workers at a town-hall meeting of the decision, but the free handsets won't likely appear in the hands of employees until consumer demand dies down following the initial launch. Apple's iPhone scheduled to hit AT&T and Apple store shelves tomorrow evening at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Apple is pretty strict about no cameras on campus. Are they going to disable cameras in Apple employee iPhones or will the employees not be able to bring them to work?
Also, ATT must love the fact they're about to get an entire company's workforce (except for part timers

bequeathed?

Umm, bequeathed means to leave something to someone in your will. If that's the case, part-timers will have a (hopefully very) long wait to get their iPhones.

cheers?

I wish I was there to hear the cheers, which I'm sure the employees got. Do you remember the jubilation when Oprah gave out free cars?

High end cell phones are sold like hot cakes to businesses. Having EVERY employee using an iPhone will give Apple invaluable feedback on how to make it "corporate friendly" (including issues like disabling the camera). Also it's a vote of confidence in the product. Wonder if/when they will start phasing out employee land lines.
